When are your services?
We have two Sunday services at 9:00 and 10:40 am.
The message is the same at both services but each service has a different “vibe”. First Service is a dynamic mix of contemporary worship and familiar gospel songs graced with a touch of classic hymns. It will be fresh, vibrant and meaningful. Second service is a less traditional, unplugged style of acoustic music and experiential worship. Your senses will be heightened to participate in a more edgy style of worship.
Each service features excellent programs for children from birth through 6th grade. We recommend you arrive approximately 20 minutes before the service so you won’t feel rushed.
How do I get to New Covenant?
New Covenant Community Church is located in Northeast Fresno at 1744 E. Nees Avenue between Cedar and Maple Avenues.
What can I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you’ll be made to feel at home. Our terrific parking team will direct you as you enter the campus. Then, as you enter the main lobby of our worship center, our greeters will be poised and ready welcome you, to give directions or answer any questions you may have. If you have children, you’ll want to take advantage of AdventureLand, our safe and secure children’s ministry that designed just for them.
As you enter the worship center, our ushers will welcome you and direct you to your seat. Then, sit back, relax and enjoy the service!
What is a weekend experience like?
Pastor Jan van Oosten shares God’s word in a way that is real and relevant to life in our ever-changing world. Our worship experience is powerful, with contemporary, but reverent, heartfelt music and time of prayer that you won’t soon forget.
Where do I take my children?
When you enter our main lobby, to the right you will see the AdventureLand Check-In Area. There we will get a little information about you and your children in order to check them in and then one of our AdventureLand Welcome Team members will escort you and your children to their classrooms. Children from birth through 4th grade worship, play and learn in the AdventureLand section of our Worship Center. Fifth and sixth graders get to hang out in the SURF Shack, which is located on the west side of the campus in Building 6.
Do you have something for students?
Absolutely. If you’re a Jr. High or High School student, NewCov is the place to be!
Grounded for 7th and 8th graders takes place every Sunday at 9:00 am and Wednesday night at 6:30pm in the AXIS Building (Building 7) on the west side of the campus. The service is packed with live music, games, a relevant message, and small group discussions. Don’t miss this high-energy time of friends and fun!
High School Ministries takes place on Sundays at 9:00 am and Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 in the Student Ministries Center. It is an intense time of music, videos, and a message that challenges students in their spiritual journey.
