As the premiere preteen program in the Central Valley, the staff of SURF desires is to see preteens live a Jesus-Centered life that they choose for themselves. We emphasize accurate Biblical teaching, fun and engaging activities, authentic worship, cultural relevance, meaningful relationships, serving our community, and being a light in the areas God put us in.
6:30pm-8:00pm – NewCov is the place to be on Wednesday nights if you’re in 5th or 6th grade. It’s live, it’s loud, and it’s FUN! This is a great place to bring friends and learn more.
9:00am & 10:30am – We meet in the SURF Shack (Building 7 – West Campus)
In addition to our weekly programs, SURF has lots of special events throughout the year, including summer camp, Mall Madness, pool parties and the SuperStart Preteen conference in October.

VBX is an extreme version of our summer Vacation Bible Adventure — just for 5th and 6th graders! In addition to the morning programs at NewCov, VBX includes afternoon experiences just for preteens, like Boomers, bowling, or Skywalk. VBX is an awesome place for 5th and 6th graders just beginning to explore a relationship with Jesus Christ, as well as those who have grown up in the church and are seeking to strengthen their personal relationship with God.
Wagon Train is a fun, rustic summer camp for students in 5th and 6th grade. This Old West experience includes sleeping in a real covered wagon, learning Archery and BB guns, riding canoes and kayaks around the pond and exploring Fort Logan (our three story island fort). You’ll also sit around a campfire singing worship songs, memorize scripture, watch amazing skits about the Bible performed by the Wagon Train staff and hear each morning and evening the Good News of Jesus and his love for us.
