I’m Pastor Scott, Lead Pastor at New Covenant Community Church. I began my ministry here as a volunteer Jr. High Director and ran the set team in the infant stages of the church. Since 1987 I have held every position imaginable, except in women’s ministry.
My wife Katie and I have been married for 33 years, and we started attending NewCov during our dating years. We have 3 grown children: Tyler, Ryan (his wife Mattie), and Kyndel.
In my free time I enjoy fishing, golfing, and hanging out with friends and family.
I grew up in Avenal, CA. I attended West Hills Community College and Fresno Pacific University. I joined NewCov in 1999 after serving as the Young Adult Pastor at Peoples Church here in Fresno. While serving there, I was blessed to lead mission trips to Bosnia, Germany, Mexico, and Russia.
I love to run and ride the spin bike. On most Saturday mornings you can find me and my wife, Kristy, out at Woodward park running with their friends. Most of all, I love spending time with my wife and best friend, Kristy.
Don’t be surprised if you spot me at a local Starbucks enjoying a cup of dark roast coffee and visiting with friends. My wife Kristy and I have been married since March of 2000, and have 2 grown children: Boyce and Rebekah, and 1 terrific grandson, Boyce.
Hey y’all. My wife, Tara Jo and I have been ministering at NewCov since 2009 in various roles throughout the Family Ministry world. Mostly as the Kids and Preteen Pastor. We have 3 teenage boys, who all have chosen to follow Jesus: Miles, Ty and Eli.
I have the privilege of getting to do a lot of public speaking at both camps for preteens, as well as, conferences throughout the United States as a representative of a great organization called fourfivesix.org.
While I get paid to do what I love, Tara Jo, is known as the girl whisper, despite having three boys, because she is one of the wisest mentors for young girls on the planet!
I have been on staff with NewCov since 2018, and in pastoral ministry since 1995. I’m married to Melanie, and have 3 daughters! I graduated of Rockbridge Seminary. I enjoy spending time on the beach with my family, and riding my mountain bike wherever the trails will take me!
Hey! I married my beautiful Wife Karissa in September of 2016. In May of 2020 we welcomed our firstborn son, Jack, into the world. We love spending time at the coast or in the mountains. I’ve been in ministry since 2012 and my first 9 years were spent in Student Ministry. In July of 2021, God brought me to NewCov to serve the Young Adults, Connect Groups, and Partnership ministries. We are thrilled to be a part of the NewCov family!
After serving 8 years active duty in the military, and obtaining my B.A. in Pastoral Ministry, I pastored in Eugene, Oregon before God led me to Fresno in 2004. My wife, Karen, and I are a blended family… I have four daughters and she has four sons (I already know what you’re thinking LOL!). We also have five grandchildren. I have been a part of NewCov’s staff since 2021 and I have to say, “I love the people of this church!”
Hey everyone! I’ve been serving as the Student Ministries Pastor here at NewCov since 2018. My favorite part of working with students is having a front row seat to all God is doing in their lives. In my spare time, I love to hunt and surf. My beautiful wife, Brynn, and I just married in October 2021, and we’re excited to grow our family with two pups Asher and Rooster.
My husband, Jerry and I are charter members of New Cov. It has been a full life journey, and I am grateful to be part of this church family. My husband and I purchased a cabin at Bass Lake that was his sweet spot, now he is with Jesus and our cabin continues to be a sweet spot shared with family and friends.
I am a wife, mom, adoptive mom, and a “Lolli” to two super cute grandbabies.
Our family has attended NewCov for 7 years, and have found a true community here.
As the Early Childhood Director, I feel my job is the most fun. I get to make play dough, create projects with glitter, and teach preschoolers all about Jesus. It doesn’t get better than that!
My husband Kurt and I have been attending NewCov since 1997. We’re thrilled to call it our church home for nearly 25 years! Our 3 adult kids: Kyle, Katie, and Kaleb are scattered across the country… so we love to travel to see them, as well as explore new places. We are also big sports fans, and especially enjoy watching our youngest son play water polo at Harvard.
Hi, I’m Stacey! I’ve been attending NewCov since 1999, and on the NewCov team since 2001. Starting in Children’s Ministry, and now working in administration and event planning. I have so much fun planning events and decorating the church for all the different seasons. My husband Scott and I have three amazing daughters, and currently one amazing son-in-law. When I’m not at NewCov I’m probably redecorating my house, watching Hallmark movies, or College Gameday on the couch with our cute dog, Emmy.
I’m the Youth Admin working with Pastor Josh Manning. I’m happily married to my husband Travis. We both grew up and attended NewCov since we were 8 years old. We actually met volunteering in the NewCov Children’s ministry in 2011, and married in 2014. This church has played a vital role in the growth of us individually, and in our family. We welcomed our first daughter into the world in 2020.
My wife and I have been attending New Covenant Church since 2004. We had 5 kids, we lost one in 2014. We have 8 grandkids and 3 great grand kids. One of our daughters lives in Florida, so we try to get back there once a year, the rest live close to home in California and Nevada.
Hi! My name is Pavlo, I am married to Nataliya Svider. I have been an employee at New Covenant Community Church since June 2010. I have three children named Ruvim, Miron, and Samantha. My hobbies are travelling and photography. I love to ride around on my motorcycle, as well as repairing different mechanisms and machinery.
