Where | Camp AdventureLand
Camp AdventureLand is the place to be for kids ages birth through 4th grade. Each morning kids will head to their age specific classes for a great time of singing, games, snacks, and creative teaching through God’s Word. All training is age specific and built to help kids grow in wisdom and their relationship with their Creator.
Kids (1st-4th grade) come together in our AdventureLand Theater for a time that just may be the best hour of their week, followed by engaging and fun age and gender specific small groups.

CORE Training at Camp AdventureLand is a unique ministry where kids will be training in mind, body, soul, and spirit. It includes weekly scripture memory and actual physical fitness training.
CORE Training runs every Wednesday from September-May for ages 0-4th grade.

VBA | VACATION BIBLE ADVENTURE

Each summer, NewCov is proud to present one of the largest VBAs in Fresno.
The 2023 theme will officially be released on Easter Sunday (Mar 31).
Registration begins on Easter Sunday (Mar 31) at the “Early Bird” rate. “Early Bird” rate will only last until Mother’s Day (May 12).
Registration for VBA 2024 will be ONLINE only.
We’re seeking volunteers who want to invest in and impact kids’ lives!
PINEWOOD DERBY

The Pinewood Derby is back! A fun event for kids & families in our community! Build a pinewood race-car and bring it to compete against other cars at the big derby. There will be categories and medals for all age groups (below).
Featuring food trucks, bounce houses, and a photo booth!
All ages welcome!

ADVENTURE BUDDIES
Every Sunday Morning
Camp AdventureLand desires to minister to ALL kids, and see ALL kids grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We’d like to welcome you to our Adventure Buddies ministry. Kids with special needs are ministered to in ways that fit them best, whether in our Adventure Buddies classroom, or in a classroom with a buddy of their own.

THE BONES STORE
1st, 3rd, 5th Sundays
We love to reward our kids who are living for Jesus. Throughout Camp AdventureLand kids have ways to earn “bones” by being on time, memorizing scripture, demonstrating fruits of the Spirit, and spending time “in the Word”.
Bones can be spent on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at the Bones Store (for prizes like Chuck ‘E Cheese) after service.
Store is located in the AdventureLand Theater.
CHILD DEDICATION
The act of dedicating children to the Lord was a common practice of blessing among God’s people in Biblical times. In addition, it was a statement of recognition, on the part of parents, that their child belonged to God.
As believers today, we dedicate children with the same purpose in mind. The dedication is more than a ritual, it is a commitment on the part of parents to honor the will of and Word of God.

Hey NewCov! I’ve been the Children’s Ministry Director since October, 2023. I have had the joy of serving students of all ages for almost 30 years. My heart is to see kids fall in love with Jesus as they recognize the holiness of God, the sinfulness of man, and the redemption of Jesus Christ. I graduated from Fresno Pacific with a BA in Liberal Studies. I am the loudest laugher you’ll ever meet, and I laugh at all my own jokes. If we haven’t met, I hope we get to soon!

As the Early Childhood Director, I always say that I have the best job in the building. I get to use glitter and play dough and teach kids about Jesus! Such a fun job! When I’m not working, I love being at home with my family. My husband Kevin and I have been married for almost 30 years. We have five children, 3 grandbabies, 10 chickens, 2 dogs, 2 cats, a bunny, and a turtle. Needless to say, we have a house full and we absolutely love it! Whether at home or at work, I have the awesome opportunity to pour the love of Jesus into the next generation.

Hi NewCov family! I’m so excited to be a part of the Children’s Team! I’ve been serving in Children’s Ministry since 2019 and have cherished the opportunity to watch our “littles” learn about the love Jesus has for them! I’m also involved with Youth Ministry on Sunday nights. Getting to serve with these age groups has been an experience of how God shapes us in every life-stage. Currently, I’m completing my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and can’t wait to work as a therapist one day!

Hi! My name is Miranda Borman. I am the Adventure Buddies Director at NewCov. I have been attending NewCov since August 2020. I got married in November 2022 to my wonderful husband Tyler, then became a mama to our sweet boy Beckett in August 2023. I have been working with children with special needs since 2019, which brings me endless joy! When I am outside of the sanctuary, you can find me on the east side of NewCov’s campus coaching Tball and soccer with my husband. And when I’m not on a field, I’m usually spending quality time with my friends and family. I am super excited to see this ministry thrive with God’s lead.
