Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child shares the Good News of Jesus Christ. As shoe-box gifts are distributed, local pastors or church leaders present the Gospel in a fun way designed for kids, while family and friends listen in. Along with their shoe-box gift, children also receive The Greatest Gift, a colorful presentation of the Gospel in their own language. Every gift filled shoe-box is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship — transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ!
Thousands of shoe-boxes will be collected during National Collection Week, right here at NewCov. But before these precious gifts can bring hope and joy to a child around the world each one has to be carefully inspected and made ready for overseas shipment by volunteers like you!

VOLUNTEER NOW
Collection Week
We need volunteers to work hourly shifts during Collection Week. Since NewCov is a central drop-off location for the greater Fresno area, thousands of shoe-boxes will be dropped off here. They’ll need to be counted, put in cartons, and then loaded onto a tractor-trailer for their journey to the Southern California Processing Center. Times are flexible, you don’t need to stay for the whole time slot.
