A unique, fun, short-term, NewCov relationship-building initiative happening this June and July.
To create new—and enhance established—relationships in the church. The name itself describes the gathering of eight adults for a home meal twice this summer. By bringing together people we might not encounter frequently, Dinner of 8 provides a sweet opportunity to get to know more and different people. We encourage participation even if you’re already involved in a Connect Group (which meets September through May).
Forming a group of four (couples or singles) who invite four others to meet at least once for a meal in June and in July (frequency may vary) at host homes. If the host desires, guests may contribute to the meal.
To anyone affiliated with NewCov in any way. It welcomes adults of all ages, often fostering connections across life stages. The dinner is for adults, but we recognize the significance of families in relationship building, so each group has the freedom to decide whether to include children or not.
