We’re focused on loving and leading 5th & 6th grade students to be fully devoted followers of Jesus. We do this through Biblically based teaching that is relevant and engaging, worship through music, interactive small groups, and fun games!

SURF midweek is an outreach-focused gathering that aims to make the Bible come alive to students in every stage of their faith.
We want our students to be excited to invite their friends to join them at SURF. To accomplish this, we have created a program with some insanely fun games, Bible-based teaching, and connect groups to help students develop meaningful relationships with one another.

What’s up! My name is Branden Moroney and I am blessed to be a part of this NewCov Youth Team! I have the most amazing, beautiful fiancé Emily, that I am so excited to marry! In my free time I love to golf and hangout at coffee shops! I just graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Biblical Studies -Youth Ministry degree. I have a growing passion for youth because that is where the Lord found me, and I want to invest in the present and future generation of the church.

I’ve been married to Dan for 26 years, and we’ve been at NewCov even longer! We have 4 kids: 2 are in college (1 of those is in the Air National Guard), and 2 are in high school. We love traveling and serving at our church!
