We’re focused on loving and leading 5th & 6th grade students to be fully devoted followers of Jesus. We do this through Biblically based teaching that is relevant and engaging, worship through music, interactive small groups, and fun games!

SURF midweek is an outreach-focused gathering that aims to make the Bible come alive to students in every stage of their faith.
We want our students to be excited to invite their friends to join them at SURF. To accomplish this, we have created a program with some insanely fun games, Bible-based teaching, and connect groups to help students develop meaningful relationships with one another.

The goal of Sunday mornings is to provide a more discipleship focused service. Students will engage in worship, more in-depth teaching, and connect groups.
Grab your bible, notebook, pen and empty stomach for donuts as we grow closer to God and each other.

Get ready for an action-packed week at NewCov’s VBX: “Wanted Dead to Alive”—designed just for our awesome 5th and 6th graders!
Each morning starts in the sanctuary with skits, games, and worship, followed by fun rotations including games, snacks, crafts, and a Bible lesson from the book of Exodus.
Early Bird Registration is Apr 5-May 10. Regular pricing May 11-Jun 10.

WAGON TRAIN

Surf is heading back to Hume Lake for Wagon Train this Summer!
Wagon Train is an unforgettable adventure for kids ages 8-11, set in the exciting Old West! Campers will sleep in covered wagons, enjoy thrilling activities like:
- Zip Lining over our pond
- Archery
- BB Guns
- Kayaking
- Rappelling at Chipmunk Rock
- Exploring Fort Logan (our very own three-story island fort)
- And of course, an immersive game of D&G Tag.
Campers can also make crafts, visit the Trading Post, wander through our tree house, and compete in camp-wide recreation games.
But Wagon Train is about more than fun—it’s a chance to grow in faith and build gospel foundations for life. Through engaging skits, campfire worship, and compelling teaching, campers will learn Biblical truths to transform their lives. Wagon Train creates an atmosphere where kids can be kids while making memories to last a lifetime.

$150 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot.

What’s up! My name is Branden Moroney and I am blessed to be a part of this NewCov Youth Team! I have the most amazing, beautiful fiancé Emily, that I am so excited to marry! In my free time I love to golf and hangout at coffee shops! I just graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Biblical Studies -Youth Ministry degree. I have a growing passion for youth because that is where the Lord found me, and I want to invest in the present and future generation of the church.
