Why do WE celebrate Christmas?

Why do WE collectively celebrate Christmas?

Why do YOU celebrate Christmas?

Why do YOU individually celebrate Christmas?

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4: 7-10

And so we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
1 John 4:16

ONE CANNOT EXPRESS LOVE WITHOUT A SACRIFICE.

JESUS SACRIFICED IT ALL… FOR YOU!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but
have eternal life.
John 3:16

JESUS’ LOVE MAKES US PART OF THE WORLD AND HIS DESIRE IS FOR YOU TO BE “WHOEVER”!

4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem
those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” 7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
Galatians 4:4-7

JESUS PROVED, HE WOULD PART FROM EVERYTHING FOR US, EXCEPT US!

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13
